Medical Grade Lasers: Elite IQ Treatment In Georgetown

1. Laser hair removal

2. Leg (spider veins) and Facial Veins (broken capillaries)

3. Hyperpigmentation: sun spots and age spots

4. Laser facials: redness and rosacea, big pores, fine lines and wrinkles.

Medical Laser for hair removal, wrinkles, vascular lesions, leg veins and hyperpigmentation.

Unwanted hair removal to all skin types with safety in mind and effective treatments. Truly reducing unwanted hair on the body.

Elite IQ has different types of laser technologies to better adapt to the various skin types. We all have different skin types due to the melanin in the skin. This varies from person to person making assessments of a persons skin type harder to gauge and can make your laser hair removal treatments unsafe. Due to the subjectivity of the laser technician.

This is why Cynosure created Elite IQ with a melanin reader. The world's first FDA approved melanin reader called Skintel. Skintel allows for treatments to be safe and consistent across the board. Your melanin can change throughout the year due to a tan or weather changes. This technology allows for safer laser hair removal treatments without burning the skin. Treating all skin types 1-6. The elite IQ has different types of wavelengths: IPL 1-4 skin type. YAG 4-6 skin type and Alexandrite laser 1-3 skin type.

Elite IQ Laser technology also helps to remove hyperpigmentation due to sun damage getting rid of the pesky spots on the face.

If you have spider veins on your legs or broken capillaries on the face. The Elite IQ can also remove these unwanted vascularities that show aging and thinning of skin.

More importantly it is a Health Canada approved technology that states on their website that the Elite IQ aids in reduction of wrinkles, vascular lesions, leg veins and hyperpigmentation and is the safest.

Before & After Treatments

Pre/Post Care Instructions

Safety & Technology

The area being treated cannot be exposed to the sun. For 1064-nm wavelength treatment, avoid sun exposure for 1 (one) week prior, during, and 1 (one) week after treatment. For 755-nm wavelength treatment, avoid sun exposure for at least 4 (four) weeks prior, during and at least 1 (one) week after the treatment. A broad-spectrum (UVA/UVB) sun block of SPF 30 or higher should be applied whenever exposed to the sun.

Expectations Following Treatment

Immediately following treatment, the area may show a slight erythema with some swelling. Blistering may occur.

General Skin Care

During the healing phase, the area must be treated delicately. Do not rub, scratch, or pick. If a crust develops, let it fall off on its own.

Apply a thin layer of ointment to the treated area several times a day to keep area moist.

Do not scrub the area; pat the area dry. Do not shave over the area if swelling, crusting or scabbing is present.

If swelling occurs, apply ice. Wrap the ice in a soft cloth. Discomfort or stinging may be relieved with acetaminophen.

If makeup is allowed, it must be applied and removed delicately. Excess rubbing can open treated area, increasing the chance of scarring.

Avoid sports and/or strenuous exercises for 2 to 3 days following treatment for hair removal and 7 to 10 days for veins. Walking is encouraged.

In case of signs of infection (pus, tenderness, fever), contact the office immediately.

Avoid sun exposure throughout the course of treatment and use a broad-spectrum (UVA/UVB) sun block SPF 30 or greater when treatment area is exposed to the sun.

The treated hairs will exfoliate or push out in approximately 2 to 4 weeks.

Posttreatment skin care instructions must be followed to prevent any complications. Please contact the office with questions or concerns regarding your treatment

Have a question not listed below? Visit FAQ page to find more answers and info about our complete range of all services.

  • What services do Re-Juvenation Cosmedical Injectables and Laser offer?
At Re-Juvenation Cosmedical Injectables, we offer a comprehensive range of services, including Med Spa treatments, Laser Clinic services, Botox & Dermal Fillers, Laser Hair Removal, PRP treatments, microneedling, Facial & Peel treatments, PDO and PLLA thread procedures, Sculptra treatments, and a selection of premium skincare services and products.
  • How does Laser Hair Removal work?
Laser Hair Removal uses concentrated laser light to target and destroy hair follicles. The heat from the laser damages the follicles, inhibiting hair growth. This procedure is safe, effective, and provides long-lasting results
  • What are the benefits of Botox and Dermal Fillers?
Botox/dysport reduces the appearance of lines and wrinkles by temporarily relaxing facial muscles. Dermal Fillers add volume to areas with lost collagen, reducing wrinkles and enhancing facial contours. Both treatments offer natural-looking results and require minimal downtime.
  • What is PRP treatment, and how does it benefit the skin?
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) treatment involves using the patient's own blood components to stimulate collagen production and rejuvenate the skin by healing cells, skin and hair cells. It helps improve skin texture, reduce fine lines, and promote a more youthful appearance and also helps with hair growth.
  • Is Microneedling painful, and how does it work?
Microneedling is generally not painful. It involves using tiny needles to create micro-injuries in the skin, stimulating collagen production. Numbing creams are used to minimize discomfort. The procedure helps improve skin texture and tone.
  • How many sessions are typically required for Laser Hair Removal?
The number of sessions required for Laser Hair Removal varies based on individual factors like hair type and colour, but most clients achieve optimal results after 6-8 sessions spaced several weeks apart.
